Top priced female from the 2017 AWA Elite Wagyu Sale for $24,000.00, BDWFK1197s' joining to the infamous marbling master, Takeda Farms Itoshigenami 148 will produce premium marbling carcasses. BDWFK1197 is also currently AIed and PTIC to Itoshigenami and due to have her first natural calf in 2019. 

Due to F0111s' excellent length and above average marbling abilities, a joining flush to Itohana 2 would strengthen the consistency of her progeny and would bring nearly all EBV's to above breed average. The resulting calves from these embryos will be very important to the future of Ausgyu Wagyu. 

While this mating may produce average statistics in EBVs', it will also contains prestigious throughout the pedigree. With a double cross of Michifuku in H0105 and a triple cross of Dai 7 Itozakura J65 - Kuro Iku in Itohana 2, these resulting progeny still only have an inbreeding coefficient of 4% and, in turn, maximising predictability. 

Purchased at the 2018 AWA Elite Wagyu Sale this is an exciting joining with Terutio 1/5 & Michifuku. The progeny from this joining will be in the top 20% TCI, top 5% for RYB, top 10% marble score & top 1% for marble fineness and eye muscle area. The purchase of these genetics will once again deepen our gene pool.

BDFK1197 was joined to Itohana 2 under the advisement of Macquarie Wagyu stud principals, Anthony and Chantal Winter. This cross will be exciting as it will solidify the consistency and predictability of the progeny in both growth and marbling. Itohana 2 is now in high demand as semen from the foundation sire is becoming scarce. 

Purchased for the top price of $19,250.00 at the Trent Bridge Wagyu A+ sale, TBRFG0132 is a phonetically excellent animal. Her EBVs are just as impressive, combining both growth and marbling. This particular joining will enhance and solidify her marbling capabilities whilst retaining above average growth. A very special female.  

TBRFK0089 was another of the Trent Bridge females purchased in 2017 and after calving her first calf, she was flushed to Itoshigenami to increase marbling. There are quite a lot of foundation sires early on in these embryos pedigrees which will make for interesting animals within the Ausgyu herd. 

Two flushes to Macquarie Prelude M0495 and two Peppermill Grove females were purchased at the 2018 AWA Elite sale to infuse modern genetics into our gene pool. These joining will produce both high fertility, growth, muscling and also be in the top 1% for marbling and marble fineness with a TCI of $343. 

TBRFF0111 was 1 of the 5 females purchased from Trent Bridge Wagyu in 2017 and is particularly long, wedge shaped female. After calving a heifer in 2017, we have flushed her to Itomichi 1/2 and have AIed her to him as well. Itomichi 1/2 has been heavily utilised in the early stages of the Ausgyu herd through the use of MOET and AI. 

TBRFH0105 is a feminine female that holds a double cross of the infamous World Ks' Michifuku early in her pedigree. After calving and exceptional heifer in 2017, she was flushed to Itoshigenami to add another dash of foundation with tremendous EMA, Mable score, Marble fineness and Terminal Carcass Index figures to boot! 

After being flushed to Itoshigenami, K0089 was also flushed to Itohana 2 to maintain growth and increase marbling. These embryos have been designed to solidify and increase the correlation between growth and marbling and therefore creating a platform for which to further improve upon in years to come.
