According to the Australian Wagyu Association, F1 Wagyu production is a cross over any other breed of bovine, however, at Chiconi Grazing, we are going to extreme lengths to ensure that we are producing from the best possible breeders for the F1 market.
The F1 market has become incredibly popular in the past few years and this influx of producers speaks volumes to us. World demand for Wagyu meat is at an all time high and looks to be on the rise for the foreseeable future. Fullblood Wagyu, for those who can afford it, is a delicacy that only those in a higher income bracket can experience. For those who cannot afford fullblood wagyu, F1 Wagyu is an alternative that most people can afford and enjoy.
The Wagyu bulls that we have selected for high quality "F1+" production are that of high Tajima bloodlines to increase the marbling capabilities of our high content Angus cows. We are also dedicated producing high-quality Angus cows by sourcing top genetics from reputable breeders.
